The Mousetrap Coffee Table

Designed by Auger-loizeau and Alex Zivanovic, the Mousetrap Coffe Table is another conceptual piece of furniture that functions as a mousetrap to keep uninvited rodents away from your house. Using a motion-detecting sensor, the table detects rodents in the infrared range and boasts of a mouse side opening in one of the legs, if a mouse ventures inside, a sensor will shut a door behind it and force it to go to that little compartment in the center. Once there, the mouse will be consumed by a microbial fuel cell, generating energy to help trap its next victim. Pretty innovative! Unfortunately, it’s just a concept for now perhaps we’ll be seeing it anytime soon. [CoolestGadgets]
