Designed by Koray Ozgen, the Asteroid Lamp was inspired by Atari’s Asteroids arcade video game. In the video game, you were trying to destroy the asteroids but you definitely don’t want to destroy these Asteroid Lamps because they are cool. Measuring 11.75-inch x 11.5-inch x 10.25-inch, the Asteroid Lamp is made of polypropylene and comes with 24 irregular sides allowing you to place it in a few different ways. You can use it as a table lamp, floor lamp, or pendant lamp. $179.

The Nessie Table Lamp was inspired by the Loch Ness Monster and comes in a variety of furry colors. It has a bendable neck that can twist and turn in all directions to shine the light in the exact spot you need it. The Nessie Table Lamp only requires four AA batteries, which are not included in the package. You can buy this lamp as a gift for your girl. $34.85.

Looking for a unique light bulb, then check out this Virtual Lamp by Anderson Horta, designer from Brazil. This virtual hanging light may appear too flat (in shape), but it is as good as other regular lamps or bulbs and functions in the same way. Just perfect for modern apartments. Hopefully it will come into production pretty soon! [Anderson Horta]

This mini Jedi weapon of choice plugs into your USB port and lights up to become possibly the coolest desk lamp since the discovery of electricity (ofcourse, we are bragging about that). The lightsabre can be removed from its USB powered dock and used as a mini Star Wars toy. Ooh, how fun! Get it fast, it’s yours for only $50. [iWantOneOfThose]
