Finally, the Marty McFly’s self-lacing shoes from Back to the Future 2 and 3 has been brought to life. These sneakers are here courtesy of the Maloof brothers’ tireless campaign. Don’t expect these sneakers to self-fasten itself (the manufacturer has not embedded A.I for the current model), of course, but the Hyperdunks are quite close. The shoes’ official price is $200, but they’re going for $800 and up on eBay now. [Wired]
